How Shoppers Use Digital Tools

As we know, the digital revolution has dramatically changed the consumer’s mode of shopping. Here are some of the more interesting developments.
Retail Touchpoints states that: “Consumer use of digital tools is increasing significantly, doubling or tripling since 2010, according to Ryan Partnership. For example, as many as 64% of shoppers are accessing retailer Web sites when considering purchases, up from 28%. This infographic, from Baynote, outlines a number of tools that are impacting purchases and product trials, including shopping apps, QR codes, and retailer social media.”
