Malls Go Mobile

Shopping mall operators are becoming much more active with mobile technology in order to drive shoppers to their shopping centers. According to John Dee of PlaceWise Media: “In 2009, only 1 to 2 percent of traffic on a mall Web site came from a mobile device. Today, there are instances when over 40 percent of mall Web site traffic connects from a mobile device.”
