China’s Role in Fashion

Hong Kong has a leading role in the global fashion supply chain, says Bob McKee of Lawson, a U.S. software firm. It comes at a time when the fashion industry is considering whether there’s a sourcing or business alternative to China; McKee says there isn’t — partly because of China’s rise as a huge consumer market.”
