Recently, Euromonitor International published Pet Care 2013 and reported that: “Global pet care retail values continue to grow, with emerging markets driving sales as pet humanization continues to spread. More mature markets like the U.S. and Western Europe have seen milder retail gains. The troubles in the Euro Zone and mounting economic uncertainty have cast a shadow on some countries. Nevertheless, global pet care remains buoyant as more consumers realize the benefits of a healthy diet for their pets.”
